Priced at a very low $3295 (800 model) the newest Briz horn model available is a yellow brass Kruspe-style double horn. We secured a convenient and low price for our customers by fostering a strong partnership with the factory. We emphasized our drive to make a high quality horn at a very reasonable price. The Balu Briz 800 double french horn has the same valve cluster with the same amazing compression that is seen in the more expensive Briz horns. As a result his horn has wonderful projection. It is also slightly lighter than the nickel 1000 model because of its brass construction. Brass is also easier to work with than the nickel traditionally used in Kruspe-style horns. The finger hook is adjustable and the change valve stop arm can be set to stand in either F or Bb.
This model is proof that a high-quality horn can be available for an affordable price. This horn comes with a Briz flight case.
The store display horn available at a big discount has two tiny dents in the tail (see picture of one, the other one is a small scuff) and is the actual horn David is testing.
